"In
immersive learning, the language being taught is the predominant
language. No english is seen, heard, or experienced in any
manner. In this case, a duck, 'le canard' is being used for
the term being taught. Object association is merged with already
acquired word association." |
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
With the Early Lingo Numbers and
Counting At The Farm - French Edition DVD, basic, simple terms
such as duck, cow, and similar objects of association which a child
is already familiar with, are used to create a new association such
as in this case, 'le canard'. Although a child may already know
what a duck is, hearing nothing but the name of the animal in French,
the brain associates the animal now with the French identification
term.
Many colleges use the learning method of total language immersion for teaching
yet it is an established fact that young children, prior to kindergarten age,
are more proficient at language awareness through foreign language immersion.

FYI: In multiple instances we discovered that some of the children
participating in our evaluation response study had a preference to the use of
the language being learned rather than their native language. According
to some of our child psychology experts, "...this can occur for a variety
of reasons ranging from personal preference on impulse as part of their development
to other external stimulation experience." |

"With the French Edition DVD from Early Lingo, the organization of
the lessons was fairly smooth with transition between audio
stimulation, and visual illustration of an object, animal,
and/or real people was acceptable. The events in each lesson were
obviously well researched as for duration and content used to ensure
maximum level of influence through the immersion method.
Where many of the total immersion DVD learning products I have examined
are being designed with the visual interpretation of what is 'assumed'
a child sees through the eyes of a mature adult. This results
with an incongruent pattern
of the lesson presentation. Such is not the case here. What
an adult may see as being boring and redundant, a child within the
age range for which the lesson curriculum was designed, sees it as
a stimulating experience of familiarity, color, sound.
The children I worked with in my
studies with both the French and Chinese Edition DVD's from Early
Lingo, the children showed an unquestionable fast acquisition
of the words and numbers with an eagerness to make use of the new
language they discovered were developing at a steady rate of progression."
An interesting point to consider is that the children in all applicable age
groups showed the
same level of progression in their foreign language skill development. There
was little to no variance regardless of ethnic, physical, mental
or age considerations specific to each child. Quite impressive
for such a 'simple' creation for total immersion language training
in target age group for which the DVD's have been created. |

Consumer Hands-on Evaluation
Details about the experience at our consumer hands-on evaluation event. |
|
 |

 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
Orlando, Fl had a new surprise coming during our consumer hands-on evaluation event where along with the rest of the man products we brought for evaluation, the Bionic Blox™ Foundation Kit was subjected to the mercy of the consumers.
This proved to be a very interesting experience as far as educational and creative-fun category products were concerned. Where one of the board games had a line that seemed to go on forever of people waiting to evaluate that product, the Bionic Blox™ Foundation Kit had plenty its share to boast of as well.
The Bionic Blox™ Foundation Kit brought "...a unique new perspective to education and child development." in the eyes of one of our consumer hands-on evaluation participants. According to her feedback sheet info, she is a teacher who remains very conscious of the needs for kids in this generation. She is constantly seeking to identify what she sees as more effective educational products to make a difference for her students.
|
 |
|
In the retail stores, specialty shops, and public malls we brought Christina Pop-in-Kins and a huge number of other products, I remember so well what one of the customers said at a specialty shop. "She is so cute! It's almost as though she has an essence of Christmas spirit to share feel-good thoughts year round."
The woman's comment caught me somewhat by surprise, along with others in the shop. Her comment caused an overwhelming sense of curiosity in me. |
Throughout our consumer hands-on evaluation event we were never short of participants waiting in line to play with the Bionic Blox™ Foundation Kit. The best part of the event was a 7 year old boy who was responsible for the creation you see in the image in the first section of this ERS.
In our speaking with an elementary school teacher who was participating with her children in the event, she agreed that the 7 year old boy demonstrated an exceptional level of applying himself for his age. At the same time, other kids around him gazing in amazement as he carefully constructed his creation in a period of roughly 30 minutes!
Once the event was over and we had examined all videos, feedback forms, and our own staff notes, we compiled the results and the Bionic Blox™ Foundation Kit passed this evaluation category for Consumer Hands-On Evaluation flawlessly. It was yet another of the elite products that wowed the crowd. |
