Our next event
on the horizon is PROJECT: Education Outreach™ - Orlando! This
is our first year with our program in Florida and it will begin
one day prior to EdExpo, March 18-20th.
Outreach™ - Orlando! follows this year's theme, "The
Importance of 'Play' In Education".
We will be featuring a number of
educational and general consumer toy and game products, some
of which will be debuted at EdExpo or continuing from Toy Fair
Education seeems to have become a forgotten
word in many schools today. The current economy on a global
scale along withy other factors, plays a part in this attitude
in regard to education for kids and parents alike. Our
focus at EdExpo will be on "Understanding The Importance
of 'Play' In Education."
THE PROGRAM AGENDA
Over the past
few weeks, prior to and during Toy Fair 2010, a new realization
came into being for many of us; education must extend well beyond
our efforts in schools. Just as at Toy Fair 2010, we will
be introducing products into the public scene in multiple locations
with minimal, if any prior notice to consumers and buyers.
As EdExpo draws ever closer, we will be working
on our agenda for featuring products at
schools, both private and public, in addition
to our spontaneous consumer hands-on product evaluation.
is more powerful than the word of mouth and this program provides
the catalyst to get the word of mouth moving.
PROJECT: Education Outreach - Orlando! will
be the next step in the evolution of our program, constantly
being improved upon and modeled to fit the needs of each city where
it spreads to.
A DIFFERENT APPROACH
The City of Orlando, Florida takes education
quite seriously. During EdExpo, we will be taking a different
approach, just as we did during Toy Fair 2010. Opportunities
for our program to serve
as a conduit in the creation of added
value and branding of
educational products will often times occur on the spur of the
moment. We will
be ready to take advantage of these opportunities as they
Products from EdExpo will be taken to the streets
in locations ranging from public libraries and schools to hotel
lobbies and other popular and busy locations where the target
audience for products shown at EdExpo will be prevalent. We
are currently working on approval for spontaneous hands-on evaluation
at one of Orlando's famous theme parks.
THE ADDED EDGE
Just as at
Toy Fair 2010, every penny counts so any possibilities of getting
an edge in drawing attention to your product(s) can make a difference. Participation
as a sponsor in PROJECT: Education Outreach™ - Orlando! can
very well provide the added edge you are looking for.
Every sponsor will have their product(s) and
web site listed on our introduction sheets we will be providing
for exhibitors at EdExpo upon request, to learn more about
our publication. These products and companies will be featured
as the few and the proud who contributed together for a humanitarian
effort supporting our theme,"Understanding The Importance
of 'Play' In Education."
It is a well established fact that when buyers
see and hear about companies
supporting an effort such as this, attention is drawn to the
companies and their products. This gives them that added
