Digital Kids Conference

What do kids, parents, and both mobile & online devices have in common? A multigenerational commonality of media communication and interaction. At the Digital Kids Conference this commonality has been addressed by top industry experts providing their insight on building, managing and monetizing services, products and interactive content for digital kids and connected youth.

This is your opportunity to gain the latest insight on mobile apps, social games/media, virtual worlds and so much more!; all of which is designed targeting kids and youth.

The show may have been small in comparison to the larger events we cover such as Toy Fair and similar sized trade shows yet don't be fooled. Digital Kids validated the old saying "Big surprises come in small packages." With everything from speaking sessions to a simple yet effectively laid out exhibition floor, a monumental networking opportunity was ripe for the picking so to speak. With the usual pressures of large crowds and tight schedules being practically non-existent, many of the attendees shared that this conference provided ample opportunity to have a far more productive investment of their time and money.

  An Experience To Remember

According to the feedback from the queries with many of the attendees and exhibitors alike I spoke to, the Digital Kids Conference was far different than expected. In my speaking with the CEO from Toon Goggles, one of the exhibitors on the show floor, we were both in agreement of how we had to decide between being at the conference or at another location to be considered. It was a unanimous agreement between the two of us that this was an experience to remember. There would be no regret of our decisions.

Who would possibly imagine such an assemblage of creativity, wisdom, color, and design all together in one place at the same time?

The Digital Kids Conference provided such a dynamic venue of insights from leading industry leaders in toy, game, and multiple forms of media entertainment.

It is literally impossible to even begin to give you much more than a peek at some of the many marvels discovered at the conference.

Giving Recognition Where It is Due

While there was plenty of mainstream activity during the conference, there was a subtle undercurrent of excitement building ever so slowly buy surely. After extensive research and study, a limited few companies at the Digital Kids Conference were notified they had been selected as Seal of Approval Finalists for The Toy Man® Recognition Award,

The dedication to innovative product development of the highest quality on a consistent basis in their field earned them special recognition for their effort. Out of that group there was a select few that grabbed the brass ring by not just being recognized as a finalist, but actually becoming a recipient of The Toy Man® Recognition Award itself.

To keep the focus on the Digital Kids Conference and avoid distraction from the efforts of it, the names of the companies who were the finalists and the actual winners of The Toy Man® Recognition Award are being announced tomorrow in The Bloom Report and the names will be added to this article as well. Congratulations to all finalists and winners for the recognition you have earned!

* Please Note: The Toy Man® Recognition Award and Finalist certificates are a service of The Toy Man® Product Guide, an Epiphany Communications publication. Neither The Toy Man® Product Guide or any awards produced by same have any direct or indirect association with the Digital Kids Conference or any subsidiary thereof.

It doesn't stop here. Over the next few days I will be adding more content to this article including a section for The Toy Man® "Recommended Products" for our readers to see who was selected. One of the beautiful parts of waiting for the balance of the content to be published is how it creates the excitement of anticipation to see what will come next. Hang on to your seats folks because you haven't seen nothing yet!
